> > Stage 2: Convert

Now that you have their attention, you need to act and convert those potential leads into actual leads by collecting their information through contact forms where you can capture at least their email.

Phone number would be nice too, but always keep in mind that your conversion rate diminishes the more information you ask them to fill.

It’s best to use Landing pages to increase your chances of conversion. With a landing page, you have a clear Call-To-Action.

Some examples are “Download your Ebook”, “Get your Free Consultation”, etc.

Make it attractive to your visitors to click and provide you with their info.

> > Stage 3: Close

Once you collect their contact, make sure it goes to some type of CRM, Email Automation, or Marketing Automation software. It will be through this tools that you convert those leads into customers.

In the industry, we call this step lead nurturing.

It’s when through a series of targeted emails, you send them content based on their interest. Through these emails you can request more action from them too.

It’s important that the software that you choose to use allows you to analyze your data so you can identify those leads that are hot versus the ones that are not.

Marketing Automation will help you create your content marketing campaign once and have all your leads follow the same sales funnel.

> > Stage 4: Delight

Now that they are your customers you must keep them coming back with content marketing, surveys, and social monitoring.

Many companies fall into the mistake of forgetting about their customer base.

Inbound Marketing is all about providing rich content to visitors, leads, and customers too! Make them fall in love with your brand and become your brand ambassadors.

Besides, this is a great way for you to upsell to your current customer base.

Inbound marketing will help you generate more visits to your website.

With inbound marketing, you can reach those potential customers through blogging and social media.
